Brayan Castro-Delgado Obituary: 30-Year-Old Dies After Tragic Crash on Old Hull Road in Athens, Georgia
With broken hearts, family, friends, and the Athens community are mourning the tragic loss of Brayan Castro-Delgado, 30, of Athens, Georgia, who died Monday morning following a devastating crash on Old Hull Road.
The fatal incident occurred at approximately 5:55 a.m. on September 21, 2026, near the 600 block of Old Hull Road, where Athens-Clarke County police responded to reports of a serious collision.
According to investigators, a black Nissan Frontier was traveling eastbound when it crossed the center line, left the roadway, and struck a ditch.
Following the initial crash, Castro-Delgado exited the vehicle and entered the roadway. Moments later, a white GMC Sierra traveling westbound struck him.
Castro-Delgado suffered fatal injuries in the collision and was pronounced dead at the scene.
His sudden passing has left those who knew and loved him grieving a life lost far too soon. Family, friends, and members of the community are now remembering Brayan for the memories he created and the impact he had on those around him.
