Christine Wells Obituary: 67-Year-Old Dies in Apparent Murder-Suicide in Somerset County
A quiet community in Somerset County is mourning the deaths of Christine Wells, 67, and Robert Dehart, 66, following an apparent murder-suicide at a residence on Dividing Creek Road.
Shortly before 7:30 p.m. on September 6, Maryland State Police troopers from the Princess Anne Barrack responded to a home in the 7500 block of Dividing Creek Road for a welfare check.
When troopers arrived, they found Wells unresponsive inside the residence. Local emergency medical services personnel pronounced her deceased at the scene.
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore later officially determined that Wells died as a result of a homicide.
