His family described him as a loving son, adored brother, entertaining uncle, wonderful partner and great friend. West Mercia Police also reported that Steven’s family had established the Dr Steven Lee Foundation, aimed at helping reduce motorcycle fatalities through advanced training for new riders.
Police said the tractor and trailer involved in the collision had serious defects, including no amber warning beacon, defective trailer brakes and other maintenance problems. Investigators identified the absence of the beacon as a main causal factor.
Steven’s family continues to remember a man who embraced learning, service and adventure while making a lasting impression on everyone around him.
