According to Pennsylvania State Police, the fatal collision occurred on September 9, 2026, at approximately 2:16 p.m. near mile marker 4.3 on Interstate 380 South.
Investigators said Patricio was traveling along the highway when a vehicle behind him struck the rear of his vehicle. The impact sent his vehicle onto the shoulder and down a grassy embankment, where it ultimately collided with a tree.
