Online posts connected to the tragedy have also referenced I’saic Pace in connection with the crash. However, the official Strongsville police information cited by local news reports identifies the surviving driver only as a 20-year-old Cleveland man and does not name him as I’saic Pace. For that reason, his identity should not be presented as officially confirmed at this time.
The deaths of Hennings and Ozanich have brought grief to their families, friends, and the Cleveland community. They were only 20 and 19 years old, respectively, when their lives were tragically cut short.
Investigation Into Fatal I-71 Crash
The circumstances that caused the vehicle to leave the roadway remain under investigation. Strongsville police said crash investigators were called to assist with the case.
Authorities have asked anyone who witnessed the crash or has video footage to contact Strongsville police Traffic Investigator Alex Kurowski at 440-580-3230, extension 7123, or by email at Alex.Kurowski@Strongsville.org.
The crash temporarily closed southbound I-71 at Pearl Road while emergency crews and investigators worked at the scene. The roadway later reopened.
Heaven Hennings and Caiden Ozanich will be remembered by their families and friends as two young lives lost far too soon. As the investigation continues, their loved ones are left to grieve their deaths and hold onto the memories they shared.
