The Omaha Hockey Club and Moylan Iceplex community are mourning the heartbreaking loss of 11-year-old Logan Rahn, who passed away Saturday after being struck by a truck while riding his scooter in Bennington, Nebraska.
According to investigators, Logan was riding his scooter near 179th Street and Island Circle last Tuesday when a truck struck him as he entered the intersection. Nearby residents immediately rushed to assist before emergency responders arrived at the scene.
Logon was transported to a hospital with life-threatening injuries, where medical teams worked tirelessly in an effort to save his life. Despite those efforts, he sadly passed away four days after the accident.
