East Texas Community Mourns Five Lives Lost in Tragic Head-On Crash
With profound sadness and heavy hearts, family, friends, and communities across East Texas are mourning the heartbreaking loss of five people who died in a devastating head-on collision. The tragedy claimed the lives of Jonathan Ryal, 51, of Tyler; Rhanda Lacy, 60; Leshonda Shepherd, 41; Cynthia Donnell, 63; and a 4-year-old child, leaving their loved ones and communities grieving an unimaginable loss.
According to authorities, Jonathan Ryal was driving a Toyota Highlander when, for reasons still under investigation, the vehicle crossed into the northbound lane and collided head-on with a Cadillac SUV.
