Conor Anderson Missing, Death: Colorado Man Found Dead After Disappearing During Tennessee Work Trip
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Conor Anderson, a Colorado man who went missing while on a work trip to Tennessee has been found dead, the Metro Nashville Police Department said.
Anderson, 31, was reported missing after he was last seen in Nashville early Sunday morning when he had flagged down two police officers. He was in town for a work conference and had checked into a hotel just before 4:30 p.m. Saturday.
Hours later, around 1 a.m. Sunday, body camera footage shows Anderson telling officers about an encounter he had with strangers after leaving a bar in East Nashville. He told officers he met people at the bar and asked them to show him the neighborhood. Anderson said the men took his money and then threatened him.
“I met these guys, and I asked them if they would show me their neighborhood, and he said yes, and he took 20 bucks from me, and then he walked out and then walked out to his group of friends and then — I can’t remember if he demanded or… he ended up getting another 20 bucks from me, and then him and his friends acted like nothing happened, and then they threatened me with violence if I didn’t leave, and then, like I mentioned, those other women were with them, and they threatened to, like, run me over,” Anderson can be heard saying on the body camera footage.
After hearing his story, the recording officer asked Anderson, “I want you to be honest with me – were you trying to buy drugs?”
“On my life, that is not what happened,” Anderson responded.

The officers encouraged him to take an Uber to get back to his hotel safely, but Anderson apparently never made it back.
Police said Thursday night he was found dead in a wood line next to a parking lot along the James Robertson Parkway.
