Emergency responders arrived quickly and transported Lisanti to a nearby hospital for treatment. Despite medical efforts, he later succumbed to his injuries on Tuesday, April 21.
Authorities noted that preliminary findings indicate neither speed nor alcohol appear to have been factors in the crash. The driver remained at the scene and is fully cooperating with investigators.
At this time, no charges have been filed, though officials emphasize that the investigation remains ongoing as they continue to review the circumstances surrounding the collision.
