Talan Chesser Obituary, KIEFER, OKLAHOMA — It is with deep sadness that the Kiefer community and surrounding school districts are mourning the passing of Talan Chesser, a recent high school graduate and respected member of the Kiefer FFA program. Talan passed away this morning after succumbing to injuries sustained in a car accident involving his family.
According to messages shared within the school community, Mrs. Chesser and her family were involved in a car wreck yesterday evening. Talan Chesser, who previously attended Beggs High School and was known within the Demon Nation community, passed away the following morning as a result of his injuries. Family, friends, and school officials have expressed profound grief over the tragic loss.
Talan recently graduated from Kiefer High School last month and was widely known as a dedicated Kiefer Trojan. During his time in the Kiefer FFA program, he earned recognition for his commitment and achievements, including receiving his State FFA Degree this past May. He was also remembered as a former Beggs Demon before continuing his academic and leadership journey at Kiefer.
Those who knew Talan described him as a kind, outgoing, and compassionate young man who brought positivity to every environment he entered. Teachers, teammates, and classmates shared that he consistently uplifted others, formed strong friendships, and left a lasting impact on both the school and agricultural community.
In response to the tragedy, Kiefer FFA and school officials announced that grief counselors will be available at the Ag Building beginning at 10:00 a.m. for students and community members in need of support. Additional counseling services will also be provided at the high school on Friday at noon to help students process the loss.
Community members across Kiefer and Beggs have continued to share condolences and prayers for the Chesser family, including Talan’s mother, Mrs. Chesser, and all relatives and friends affected by the devastating incident.
